This keto fat bomb recipe is so good that I went rummaging through my fridge to grab one as soon as I started to write this post.I couldn’t help myself! As I loaded the photos, I instantly remembered their amazing flavor and had to get one. I mean, I need post-writing energy, right? 😉

Thankfully, you too can have one of these delicious treats in your hands soon! This recipe is super easy to make and can be easily multiplied to make a huge fat bombs stash. You only need four ingredients, which you may already have on hand or can be easily purchased online. (Raise your hand if you buy at least half of your groceries online! *hand definitely raised*)

You’re probably dying to have one of these sweet treats right now (who doesn’t love maple and coconut?!), so let’s get to the details.

Ingredients Needed to Make This Keto Fat Bomb Recipe

You’ll need only four ingredients to make this keto fat bomb recipe, and I consider all of them staples of the keto diet:

Nutiva Coconut Manna

This stuffis seriously amazing and a must-have for the keto diet! It’s naturally sweet, and it turns into a deliciously creamy treat when it’s warmed.

Bob’s Red Mill Unsweetened Macaroon Coconut

I used macaroon coconut in this keto fat bomb recipe becauseit’s finely ground, giving the end result a better texture. If you don’t want to purchase this kind, you can put regular unsweetened coconut flakes in a food processor or coffee grinder to get a finely ground texture.

Lakanto Maple-Flavored Syrup

Stock up on a bottle (or five) of this… it is heavenly! Best of all, two tablespoons contain only 1g net carbs after you subtract the fiber and sugar alcohols.

How to Make Maple Coconut Keto Fat Bombs

To get started with this keto fat bomb recipe, you’ll need to melt your coconut manna. There are two methods depending on your preference:

Method #1: Place your jar of coconut manna in a bowl of hot water for at least 20 minutes to soften thecontents. After 20 minutes, open the jar and carefully mix to combine the manna and oil. Remove what you need and place it in a bowl.If it’s not fully smooth, you can quickly microwave it (10 seconds) to smooth it out before mixing in the rest of the ingredients.

Method #2: Microwave the jar (lid OFF) in 10-second bursts, stirring between each burst. You want to get to a drippy consistency. I usually get there within 30 seconds.

Combine 7 tbsp melted coconut manna with the rest of the ingredients. Mix with a spoon to combine.

Note: The mixture will be a bit lumpy, as you can see below.

Then, add it to your fat bomb molds! Mine fit into one of my minimolds with 15 slots, which you can buy here. They’re super popular in the keto community and for good reason!

Stick them in the freezer for 30 minutes or the fridge for 60 minutes before digging in.They are SO good… you’re going to love them!

I just love the texture of these! I use coconut manna + macaroon coconut (although a slightly different ratio) for myPiña Colada Keto Fat Bombs, but the addition of the maple-flavored syrup transforms the end result. They don’t firm up quite as much (especially if kept in the fridge), which I love.

Why Eat Fat Bombs on the Keto Diet?

Fat bombs are a staple of the keto diet. Why? Well, they deliver a “bomb” of fat in a small (and often sweet) package. They can help boost your energy without bringing along with them a lot of carbs and protein. Plus, they make a perfect dessert or snack when you want something sweet!

Notes

How to Melt Coconut Manna

Method #1:Place your jar of coconut manna in a bowl of hot water for at least 20 minutes to soften thecontents. After 20 minutes, open the jar and carefully mix to combine the manna and oil. Remove what you need and place it in a bowl.If it's not fully smooth, you can quickly microwave it (10 seconds) to smooth it out before mixing in the rest of the ingredients.

Method #2:Microwave the jar(lid OFF)in 10-second bursts, stirring between each burst. You want to get to a drippy consistency. I usually get there within 30 seconds.

Coconut type: If you don't use macaroon coconut, you can process shredded coconut in a food processor or coffee grinder until it is finely ground. This is to keep the fat bombs from having long shreds of coconut flakes in them. However, if you don't mind the long shreds, feel free to leave them as-is.

Lakanto Maple-Flavored Syrup: Since my nutrition software doesn't allow for sugar alcohols, I simplified the calculations by reporting the net carbs only for the syrup (1g net carbs for the amount used in this recipe).
